From first draft to a reliable API.
Everything you need to get started with the ApiCrafted local prototype.
1. Open a project
Open the workspace to explore Atlas Commerce, our sample API. Or choose New project, provide a name and OpenAPI version, and start your own contract.
Explore the workspace2. Design and validate
Edit the YAML or JSON document in API Studio. Save changes explicitly. Run Validate to check structural errors and documentation warnings. The prototype accepts inline OpenAPI 3.0.x and 3.1.x documents up to 1 MB.
Explore the workspace3. Compare your revisions
Paste a baseline and a proposed specification. Both must validate before comparison. Breaking findings explain likely client impact. Authentication, schema compositions, and changed constraints are warnings requiring manual review. Removal of a request parameter is conservatively flagged because clients may depend on its behavior.
Explore the workspace4. Preview the documentation
Open a project’s documentation preview to read its current saved contract. Search paths, select operations, inspect request and response schemas, and copy examples. The standalone tool also accepts pasted specifications.

Projects are stored in browser local storage. There is no account, cloud sync, or collaboration. Private browsing and clearing site data can remove your work. Export your YAML regularly. Validation does not fetch external references: inline them first.
